A book stall had 550books in all. 2/5th of the books were sold out. How many books are sold and how many books are remaining in the book stall?

If 2/5 of the books are sold out, it meansthat 2/5*550= 220 books are sold out.

based on this, we can easily figure out the remaining books, as it equals 550-220=330
