Here in this question we have to calculate the CP

SP = Rs. 27.5 Profit = 10%

Using Formula, CP = 100/(100+Profit %) x 27.5

= 100/110 x 27.5

= 25

So the CP is Rs. 25

Now if we want to sell the book for 25.75

Profit = SP - CP

= 25.75 - 25

= 0.75

Profit % = Profit/CP x 100

= 0.75/25 x 100

= 3%

So if we sold the book for Rs. 25.75 we could earn the profit of 3%
