A boring six weeks of summer vacation stretched before me. I started planning on what to do in this summer vacation. I started going to drama club with my friends, something which I wanted to do for a long time. We also went camping to the nearby hill. We had a bonfire and spent the night having lots of fun. After that, we went to watch the recently released movies, had food at restaurants and also went to parties. I went as a volunteer to a heritage site to increase my knowledge and experience as I was studying history.

Every year throughout the summer vacation we engage in various activities.
This year we friends were not satisfied with one single routine activity. Rather we made plans to do a lot of things during the summer vacations.
So the first week can be spent on a 4 days summer camp, an enrolment at the locality drama club, some playtime and lastly volunteering on some cause which is close to the heritage of the nation.
With this strong plan in mind, we took the help of our parents and one by one took enrolment to each of the above ideas.
For volunteering we started promoting children education and also gave free tuition classes to the poor children in our own locality three times a week.
This has immensely helped us develop an all new perception about a summer holiday.
