A borrower took Rs. 16000 from finance firm at 12 % p.a. for 2 years, find the interest and amount.

Answer:

so the principal = 16000 rs.

interest = 12%

time = 2 years

S.I = prt/100

S.I = 16000×12×2/100

S.I = 3840 rs

therefore interest is 3840 rupees and amount = P+S.I = 16000+3840

A = 19840 rs
