Solution:
- Formula used
v=u+at
F=ma
v=u+at
0=2+0.5a
-0.5a=2
a=-2/0.5
a=-20/5
a=-4 m/ s^2
F=ma
=8×(-4)
= -32 N
The bowling ball hit the pillow with -32N force
