Total number of possibility = 90.

1).Favorable condition possiblity of a prime number less than 23= { 2,3,5,7,11,13,17,19}=8.

Therefore probability of a prime number less than 23 = 8/90 = 4/45.

2). Favorable condition possiblity of a perfect square number less than 90
= {1,4,9,16,25,36,49,64,81} = 9.

Therefore probability of a perfect square number= 9/90 = 1/10.

Hope it helps.

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

(1)  favorable outcomes are 2,3,5,7,11,13,17,and 19

probability of the prime number less than 23 is=8/90

(11) number which are perfect square from 1 to 90 are :1,4,9,16,25,36,49,64,81,

so probability of a perfect square is  10/90=1/9
