A box contains 12 balls out of which x are black. If one ball is drawn at

Answer:

the probality will be x/12

now the total no. is 18

no of black balls = x+6

p(drawing a black ball) = x+6/18

therefore,

x+6/18= x/6

x+6=3x

2x=6

x=3

Step-by-step explanation:

p(e)=x/12 eq. 1

p(e)=x+6/18. eq.2

acc. to the ques.

x/12*2=x+6/18

x/6=x+16/18

after solving the equation

x=3
