Step-by-step explanation:

When one card is drawn at random, there are 20 possible outcomes.

(i) To find: The probability that the number on the drawn card is multiple of 4 and 5....

Out of the 20 numbers present on the cards,

The multiples of 4 are 4, 8, 12, 16 and 20...

The multiples of 5 are 5,10,15 and 20....

Hence, there are exactly 5 + 4 − 3 = 6 favourable outcomes.

The probability of occurrence of an event is defined as .

number of favourable events/total number of events...

In this way, we find that the probability that the number on the drawn card is multiple of 4 or 5 is 6/20..... prefer to it child!!!!!
