A box contains 5 white socks and 5 blue socks well mixed a man pics to socks at random the probability that for both socks to match is?

the probability of picking white colour will me 5/10 or 1/2.same is with blue socks 5/10 or 1/2. this is right answer. pls follow me and mark it as brainliest

Given that,

No. of blue socks = 5

No. of white socks= 5

P(white socks)= no. of favourable white socks÷ total number of socks

= 5÷10

= 1/2

P(blue socks)= no. of favourable blue socks÷ total number of socks

= 5÷10

= 1/2

THEREFORE PROBABILITY FOR BOTH WHITE AND BLUE SOCKS IS 1/2...
