The length , breadth & height are different for box so it is a cuboid

Given,

Length (l) = 36 cm

Breadth or width (w) = 30 cm

Height (h) = 40 cm

To find the cost of painting the surface

We need to find the surface area

{ \sf{ \implies surface \: area \: of \: cuboid(S.A) = 2lw + 2lh + 2hw}}

→ S.A = 2(36)(30) + 2(36)(40) + 2(40)(30)

→ S.A = 2160 + 2880 + 2400

→ S.A = 7440 cm²

Cost of painting the surface of the box = 5 rupees per cm²

Cost of painting = 7440 × 5

Cost of painting = 37200 rupees

 { \boxed { \sf \red{cost \: of \: painting \: the \: surface \: area \: of \: box \:  = 37200 \: rupees}}}
