A box with measure 50 cm*40 cm*32 cm is to be covered with a tarpaulin cloth. how many metres of tarpaulin of width 64 cm is required to cover 100 such boxes?​

Volume of box = 50*40*32 = a

now divide a / 64 and then multiply by 100

= 2( 50×40+40×32+32×50 )

= 2( 2000+1280+1699 )

= 2(4880)

= 9760cm2

Area of hundred such boxes = 9+60

= 9+60×100cm

Area of tarpaulin required = 9+6000

64×b = 9+6000

b = 15950cm
