The pressure is caused for the following reason -

• Like any other substance,the water also has certain amount of weight due to the presence of gravitational force.

• When the boy goes 10 metres deep into the water,the weight of that 10 metres of water above the boy,is automatically applied on the body of that boy.

• Due to the application of the weight of the water,that boy feels a certain amount pressure in the 10 metres deep underwater environment.
