A boy flying a kite has let out 60 m of string.If the angle of elevation of the kite is 60 deegree,calculate the height of the kite above the ground.

Hey MATE!!!

Let us assume the height of the kite from the ground be x.

Therefore, we can find height of the kite by sinΦ [Φ is the angle of elevation of kite from ground].

sin 60°  =  \frac{x}{60}  \\  \\ \frac{ \sqrt{3} }{2}   =  \frac{x}{60}  \\  \\ x =  \frac{60 \sqrt{3} }{2}  =  >  {30 \sqrt{3}}
