A boy has as many sisters as he has brothers. Each of his sisters has twice as many brothers as she has sisters. How many children are there in the family?​

No. of girls be y

A boy has y sisters and x-1 brothers

y = x-1..... (1)

Each girl has y-1 sisters and x brothers

x = 2(y-1)..... (2)

Total Children = x + y = 7
