Let the previous height of the boy be = X

Then the present height of the boy be = X + 3% ×X

= X + 3X / 100

= (103X ÷100)

AS THE PRESENT HEIGHT OF THE BOY IS GIVEN 150 cm.

So,
» (103X÷100) = 150 cm

» X = 145.63 cm

Now, as the present year's height is 150 cm

So, every year the increase of height in the boy is = (150 - 145.63) = 4.37

So, after 2 year the height will be = 150 cm + (4.37 × 2)

= 150 cm + 8.74

= 158.74 cm
