A boy moves along the edge of a square park of side 40m and stops at the diagonally opposite end of it . Find his velocity if he takes 0.5 minutes to reach there

side a = 40m

diagonal of a square = √2 × a

= √2 × 40

displacement = √(40√2)² + (40√2)²

s = √3200+3200

s = √6400

s = 80

avg velocity = displacement/time

v = 80/30

v = 2.66 m
