a boy of mass 45kg climbs up 20 steps in 20 seconds.if each step is 25cm high , calculate the power used in climbing?

m= 45kg
Number of steps = 20
Each step = 25cm
Total height climbed = 20*25= 500cm = 5m
time= 20sec

According to the formula,
Power = mgh/time
= 45*9.8*5/20
= 2205/20
= 110.25 W

we know that ,

power = work / time

work = mgh

m = 45kg

g = 10m/s²

h = 25 * 20 = 500cm = 5m

work = 45 * 10 * 5 = 2250J

P = W / T

P = 2250 / 20 = 114.5W

if you take g = 9.8 or 10 both are correct
