S=30m

θ = 25°

To find: work done by the boy in pulling the wagon

solution

from the question, it is clear that the force is directed 25° above the horizantal  i.e  

the angle between force and displacement is 25°

Therefore,

by using the formula

work done = F.d, where  F is the force acting and d is the displacement

total work done by the force = F * dcosθ= 80 x 30cos25°

                                                =2160J
