x = 3x/8 + 1x/2 + 30
30 = x -3/8x - 1/2x
30 = 8x-3x-4x/8
x = 30×8
= 240 pages

Second Day Read,
(X - 3X/8) * 4/5 = X/2
Remaining = 30 Pages.
Total Pages = First day Read + Second Day Read + remaining Pages
X = 3X/8 + X/2 + 30
X - 3X/8 - X/2 = 30
(8X - 3X - 4X)/8 = 30
X = 30 * 8
X = 240.
