a boy riding on bike on a highway travels with a velocity of 150 km/h , covers a distance of 10 km and comes to rest . calculate acceleration

initial velocity = 0

final velocity = 150 km/h

distance = 10 km

we know that v^2 - u^2 = 2as

by substituting,

150^2 - 0 = 20a

22500 = 20a

a = 22500/20

a = 1125km/h^s
