A boy throws a stone from the top of a cliff into the sea. When the stone leaves his hand it is
travelling horizontally at a velocity of 10 m/sec. How long will it take the stone to reach the
sea, a distance 8 m below?

Velocity = Displacement/time

10 = 8/t

(10×t)=8

t=(8/10)sec

t=0.8 sec

So Option D is correct.
