A boy walk from his home to school along a straight road. He covers a distance of 180 m in 2 minutes to reach the school . After reaching the school,he finds that the school had closed. He instantaneously return to his home travelling the same time. what is the (1) Average speed?(2) Average velocity of the boy?​

Average speed will be 1.5 m/s and average velocity will be zero

Average speed=Total distance covered / Total time taken =180+180/ 2+2=90 metre/min=90/60=1.5 m/s
