Distance is defined according to the followed path whereas, displacement is the distance between the final and initial positions.

So, when he completes one round he completes a distance of 2πr( = circumference ) and a displacement of 2r( = diameter )

Dependent of the time taken we can find the velocity and speed.

Velocity is dependent of displacement whereas, speed is dependent on distance.
