Let the number be "x" and the correct answer be "y"

If the number is multiplied by 25,we will get the correct answer (given)
=> x*25=y-----1(y=25x)

When the number is multiplied by 52,getting an answer 324 more than the correct answer
=>x*52=y+324---2

Substituting eqn 1 in 2 ,
=>52x=25x+324
27x=324
x=12

Therefore the number to be multiplied was 12
