a boy was asked to multiply a number by 25 he instead multiplied the number by 52 and got the answer 324 more than the correct answer the number to be multiplied was

The number to be multiplied*wrong number =the correct answer+324

Let X be the actual product he should get

Let y be the number he should multiply withthen

324+x=52*y........i

And

X=25*y....................ii

By Subtracting both eq.i-ii

324=(52-25)*y

324=27y

Y=12
