a boy was sucking cold drink from bottle with help of straw .then he made it airtight by putting a plasticine around the straw on the mouth of the bottle .will he be able to suck cold drink any more.why?

No the child won't be able to drink anymore because a hydrostatic pressure difference is required for water to move up the straw.  As we suck air a low pressure region is formed in the straw and due to atmospheric pressure the water moves up the straw  Making it airtight doesn't allow atmospheric pressure to act on the surface of the liquid so water does not rise up the straw

No,the boy won't be able to drink the cold drink anymore as the cold drink needs medium to pass through as that medium is blocked.
