Carl woese in 1994 proposed three domains of life( Super kingdom)
they are:-
1)Archae
2)Eubacreria
3)Eukarya
in five kingdom classification, Archaebactria and Eubacteria were in same kingdom, ie kingdom Monera
Archea have some novel features that are absent in other prokaryotes and Eukaryotes
so they are given a seperate kingdom
based on Three domain of life, A group of scholars proposed Six kingdom classification.
