360000 bricks

Step-by-step explanation:

Q.

A brick had dimensions 15 cm × 8 cm × 5 cm. Find the number of bricks in a chamber of volume 216 .

Solution -

First of all, we have to find the volume of brick

Volume of cuboid = l × b × h

Volume of brick = 15 cm × 8 cm × 5 cm

= 600 cm³

Now,

1 = 100000 cm³

216 = 216000000 cm³

Number of brick in chamber = Volume of chamber / volume of brick

= 216000000/600

= 2160000/6

= 360000 bricks

So there are 360000 bricks in the chamber.

hope it helps.
