Pressure exerted on the brick at bottom is due to the force exerted by its weight divided by its area.

Pressure= Force / Area

here according to the question, Force (F)=16N

Area= length x breadth

Area=32cmx10xcm

=(32/100)m X( 10/100 )m

=0.32m x0.1m

=0.032m²

Pressure= Force / Area

=16/0.032

=500N/m²

Thus, the pressure exerted by the brick on the ground is 500N/m² or 500 Pa
