A brick of mass 10 kg has dimensions 25 cm x 8 cm x 5 cm. How much minimum pressure it can exert and how much maximum pressure it can exert?​

Explanation:

now mass is of 10kg and acceleration due to gravity = 10 m/s^2

so force = 10× 10 = 100N

so now maximum area = 25×8 = 200 cm^2

which will lead us to minimun pressure

so P = F/A = 100/200 = 0.5 Pa

and minimum area = 8×5 = 40cm^2

which will lead us to maximum pressure

P = 100/40 = 2.5 Pa

area is inversely proportional to pressure( as area incerases pressure decreases and as area decreases pressure increases)
