KE = \frac{1}{2} m\times v^2

m = 40g = 0.04Kg

v = 30 m/s

KE = \frac{1}{2} × 0.04 × 30 × 30

= 900 (m/s)² × 0.02Kg = 18Kg m²/s² = 18 joules
