Let AB be the width of the river such that AB = x

Now in right Angled ∆OAB

=) sin 45° = x/150

=)x= 150 sin 45°

=) 150× 1/√2

=) 150√2/2

=) 75√2

=) 75× 1.41

=) 105.75 metres
