A bulb is rated at 220V- 100W. What is its resistance? Two such bulbs are lighted in parallel for 5 hrs . What is the power consumed by the combination if the voltage of the source is 220V ? Also calculate how many units of electrical energy is consumed? Plz answer quickly

power=V*I; V/I= R

=> P= V²/R

Explanation:

100W= 220²/R

=> R =220*220/100= 484

hence resistance=484 ohms

Two bulbs =200w

when lighted for 5 hours yields 200* 5 whour

=1unit
