Answer:

0.55 is the answer

v=i/r so formula is i=v/r.

so i= 220/400= 0.55amp and magnitude is in opposite direction

✰ Given -

  • Resistance (R) = 400 ohm
  • Voltage (V) = 220 Volt

To Find -

  • Current (I) = ?

Solution -

We know Ohm's Formula,

✓ \: </strong><strong>V</strong><strong> =  \: </strong><strong>I</strong><strong> \times </strong><strong>R</strong><strong>

Placing Values,

⟶220 = I \times 400

⟶I =  \frac{\cancel{220}}{\cancel{400}}

⟶I = 0.55Ampere

⛬ Current is 0.55 Ampere & Magnitude is in Opposite Direction
