v=150 m/s
s=3.2 cm = 0.032 m
now when it penetrates then its final velocity(v) = 0
now using 3rd equation of motion
i.e v² = u² + 2as
now, a = (v²-u²)/2s = (0 - 22500)/2×0.032
= -351562.5 m/s²
here negative sign denotes retardation ...I.e acceleration is in opposite direction to the direction of motion.
