They will both hit the ground at the same time as they both start with 0 vertical velocity and are acted upon by the same gravitational force

We know that time taken for any object to come to the ground depends solely on the vertical component of the vector. It does not depend on the horizontal component.

Therefore we can say that u_{x} = 0

We know, s= u_{x} t + \frac{1}{2}gt^{2}

as u_{x} = 0, s= \frac{1}{2}gt^{2}

t= \sqrt{\frac{2s}{g} }

Since the distance traveled by both bullets are same and gravity is also the same, s= s_{1} =s_{2}

Therefore, time does not depend on the distance

Hence, both bullets will hit the ground at the same time.
