A bullet is fired on a wall with a velocity of 100m/s. If the bullet of 10cm inside the wall, then find the retardation provided by the wall

v = 0 m/s, u = 100 m/s, s = 0.1 m, a = ?
v^2 - u^2 = 2as (III equation of motion)
= 0 - 10000 = 2 a x 0.1
= (-10000) = 0.2a

Therefore a = -10000/0.2 = (-50000) m/s^2
Or a retardation of 50000m/s^2
