A bullet leaves a gun with a horizontal velocity of 100 m/s. Calculate the distance it would travel in 1.3 seconds.

as we know that velocity and speed are same
distance = speed ×time
distance = 100×1.3
distance = 130m

Time = t = 1.3 s
Distance covered = s = ?
Solution:
To find the horizontal distance that the bullet has traveled before it has hit the ground we use the equation linking displacement s with some velocity v over time duration t 
So,
s = v t
Substituting the values, we get:
s = (100) (1.3)
s = 130 m
which is the required answer.
