1.CSA of cone =pi×r×l
we have find the slant height i.e..root of height square +radius square.....
then we shold substitute in the formula....
2.TSA of cone =pi ×r(r+l)
we shold take pi value as22/7 and substitute all the values

Answer ⤵️

Diameter of the cone= 16 m

Radii of the cone= 16/2= 8 m

i) C.S.A= πrl

 \frac{22}{7}  \times 8 \times 17 \\  =  \frac{2992}{7}  \\  = 427.42 \:  {cm}^{2}

ii) T.S.A= πr(l+r)

 \frac{22}{7}  \times 8(17 + 8) \\  =  \frac{22}{7}  \times 8 \times 25 \\  =  \frac{4400}{7}  \\  = 628.57 \:  {cm}^{2}

So,

C.S.A= 427.42 cm²

T.S.A= 628.57 cm²
