- We know that velocity of rifle×mass of rifle=..velocity of bullet×mass of bullet
- So we get 60 × x=12 × 2.5
- So we get x=12×2.5/60
- So x=0.5m/s

Answer:
500 m/s
Explanation:
= Mass of bullet = 0.06 kg
= Mass of rifle = 12 kg
= Final Velocity of bullet
= Final Velocity of rifle = 2.5 m/s
Since both the bullet and rifle start from rest
The velocity of the bullet is 500 m/s
