according to the law of conservation of momentum the total momentum before collision is equal to total momentum after collision so..
mass of bullet•speed of bullet +mass of wood•velocity of wood=(mass of bullet+mass of wood)total velocity
0.02•200+0.98•0=(0.98+0.02)v
4+0=1v
4=1v
v=4m/s
