change in K.E=1/2×M×V×V-1/2×M×v×v
=1/2×0.5×9-1/2×0.5×25
=2.25-6.25
=-4kgm/ss

=1/2*0.5*25-1/2*0.5*9
=12.5/2-4.5/2
=8.5/2
