a bullet of mass 10g is fured from a gun of mass 6kg with a velocity of 300m/s . Calculate the recoil velocity of the gun. PLEASE ANSWER FAST PLEASEEEEEE

Given ,

Mass of the bullet(m) = 10g

In S.I unit (kg) ,

10/1000 = 0.01 kg

Mass of the gun(M) = 6kg

Velocity of the bullet(v) = 300m/s

Recoil velocity of the gun(V) = (-m/M)×v

V = (-0.01/6)×300

V = -3/6 m/s

V = -0.5 m/s

Therefore , the recoil velocity of the gun is 0.5m/s...
