A bullet of mass 8 gm comes out from a gun of mass 5 kg the recoil velosity of gun is 64cm/s the bullet comes out and rest inside 50 cm depth of target.what is tge resistance of bullet

mass of bullet=8g=0.008 kg

mass of gun=5kg

recoil velocity of gun=64cm/s=5.33m/s

by conservation of momentum,

0.008×v=5×5.33

so, v=3331.25m/s

again, u=3331.25m/s

v=0 m/s

s=50 cm=0.5m

v^2=u^2+2as

0=11097226.5625+2a×0.5

a=11097226.5625m/s^2

so, f=0.008×11097226.5625=88777.8125N
