A bus covers distance from Delhi to Chandigarh in 5 hours at a speed of 60 km/hr . What should be the speed of bus if the driver wants to cover the distance in 4 hours?​

Answer:

Given that :

time taken = 5 hrs

speed = 60 km/ hr

distance= speed * time

             = 5 hr * 60 km/hr = 300 km

In the  second case we nee to find out speed:

time= 4 hrs

distance = 300 km  ( distance would not change)

hence speed = 300 km/ 4 hr = 75 km/hr
