Given :

Initial velocity of bus , u = 72 km/hr = 20 m/s

Final velocity of bus , v = 36km/hr = 10 m/s

Time interval , t = 1 min 40 sec = 100 sec

To Find :

Acceleration of the bus

Solution :

We have to find the acceleration of the bus

By First equation of motion

v = u + at

Put the given values

→ 10= 20+a×100

→ 100a = -10

→ a = \frac{-10}{100}

→a = -0.1 m/s²

Hence , Acceleration of the bus is -0.1 m/s²
