As we know

distance = speed x time

here time is 2.5 hours = 2.5 × 60 minutes (changed time into SI units)

t = 150 minutes

distance = 35 x 150

= 2250 meters

naveen7178: mine is crrct
rIshavQ: why is it wrong?
rIshavQ: I converted only time into SI
rIshavQ: because ques is in SI for time
rIshavQ: read the question properly first
rIshavQ: I changed hrs into mins
naveen7178: but ur multiplication went wrong.

hey mate
we have speed as 35m/min
so convert it into m/sec
so it will.be 35/60=7/12 m/s
now we use speed =distance /time
so u will distance as =(7/12)×(5/2)×60×60
=7×5×5×30
=7×25×30=5250m//
i hope u understood!!

naveen7178: i may recognise u
