\small{\underline{\sf{\purple{Given:–}}}}

  • Acceleration of the bus, a = 0.5 m/
  • Time taken, t = 2 minutes

\small{\underline{\sf{\purple{To\:find:–}}}}

  • Speed of the bus
  • Distance travelled

\small{\underline{\sf{\purple{Solution:–}}}}

Time = 2 minutes = 120 seconds

We know that,

\boxed{\bf{\red{V=u+at}}}

.°. V = 0 + 0.5 × 120

V = 60 m/s

We also know that,

\boxed{\bf{\red{S=ut+\frac{1}{2}at²}}}

.°. S = 0 × 120 ×+ 1/2 (0.5) × (120)² m

.°. S = 3600 m

Hence, speed of the bus is 60 m/s

and distance travelled by bus is 3600 m
