Acc to the question, it is said that, speed of bus decreases in fixed proportion with increase in number of person.

That means, if no of person decreases then speed will increase.

Therefore, initially speed was 100km/hr and no of person were 6.

When, no of person reduced to 3 i.e. half, then the speed will increase by half of the initial value i.e. 100 + 50 = 150km/hr.

Thus, when three person are traveling in bus its speed will be 150 km/hr.

hi,

Following is the answer to your question.

Since in the above problem, the speed of bus and number of people inversely proportional to each other, so when the number of people decreased by half, the speed of the bus would increase by half. it is explained as following;

Bus speed for 6 person =100km/hr

Then for 3 person means = 100/6*3

therefore, =150 km/hr speed.

I hope your question is answered.

Thank you.
