A bus slams on its breaks and goes from 30 km/hr to 15 km/hr in 4 seconds. What is its acceleration?

a = (v-u)/t

As we know that when brakes are applied it is called deacceleration which id negative of acceleration.

So,

(final speed-initial speed)/time = (-8.33333-4.16667)/4 = -12.5/4 = -3.125m/s
